“Be still and know that I am God.” God interrupts Psalm 46 and goes on by saying, “I will be exalted among the nations. I will be exalted in the earth.”
It’s not just that God has done good things for Jerusalem, leading to their cry of confidence in Psalm 46. It’s not that He has protected you in this present age. It’s that He presented you a way, in fact The Way, The Truth, and The Life in Christ Jesus.
In today’s sermon, we look at how God was glorified through the birth, life, and death of Jesus. He shows His dominion over life, nature, and sin. Truly He is exalted!!!
While Jesus is perfect, this recording is not…yet. We are working on it. We long to be with you and worship together again, even if for the first time! We pray that you are spending this time (or at least some of it) getting closer to the God of all creation and being used by Him to love and serve others.
*Note: the scripture for today is Luke 1:26-38, Mark 4 (not 5):35-39, and Luke 23:32-43.
Our Core Beliefs
That the Bible – the 66 books of the Old and New Testaments – is the authoritative and inspired Word of God.
In the Deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, His incarnation, His sinless life, His atoning death, His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and the promise of His visible return.
In the baptism of the Holy Spirit according to Acts 1:8, by Whose indwelling presence we receive power for holy living and access to all the supernatural ministry of Christ.
That the chief purpose of man is to love the Lord his God with all of his heart, mind, soul, and strength – and his neighbor as himself.
That there is One God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit
In the blood of Jesus as the only provision for cleansing from sin; salvation is received as a free gift of grace through repentance and faith.
In the resurrection of both the saved to everlasting life and the lost to everlasting punishment.
In the practices of baptism and communion as instituted by Jesus Christ.
What makes us different?
At Faith church we realize that the world is in desperate need for love. We do our best to teach, equip, and present people with the opportunities to love others.
We believe you have two ministries; who you are and what you do. In regards to “What you do” it is our goal to help provide you with opportunities to love and serve others and equip you with what you already do.
