Our Core Beliefs

We come from a variety of backgrounds. Some of us grew up in the church. Some recently discovered Jesus. At Faith, we recognize the unique purpose of each person and the gifts that they bring. Each of us are individuals and have our own stories.  However, as a community we believe:

That the Bible – the 66 books of the Old and New Testaments – is the authoritative and inspired Word of God.

In the Deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, His incarnation, His sinless life, His atoning death, His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and the promise of His visible return.

In the baptism of the Holy Spirit according to Acts 1:8, by Whose indwelling presence we receive power for holy living and access to all the supernatural ministry of Christ.

That the chief purpose of man is to love the Lord his God with all of his heart, mind, soul, and strength – and his neighbor as himself.

That there is One God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit

In the blood of Jesus as the only provision for cleansing from sin; salvation is received as a free gift of grace through repentance and faith.

In the resurrection of both the saved to everlasting life and the lost to everlasting punishment.

In the practices of baptism and communion as instituted by Jesus Christ.

What makes us different?

Learn to Love
At Faith church we realize that the world is in desperate need for love. We do our best to teach, equip, and present people with the opportunities to love others.

Ministries
We believe you have two ministries; who you are and what you do. In regards to “What you do” it is our goal to help provide you with opportunities to love and serve others and equip you with what you already do.
